Where does the money go?

Every gift you give through cbm’s gift catalogue helps support one of cbm’s excellent projects overseas in the developing world.

Your gift will be sent to specific programs that provide the extraordinary service you’re sponsoring through our Catalogue.

$150, for example, is the average cost of building a wheelchair. We send your gift to our project in Kenya and a local artisan builds a solid, off-road wheelchair – made to handle the rough roads of the Mukuru slums.

Or let’s say you give someone a $33 miracle of sight. Your money goes to one of our many eye projects where it’s used to buy the surgical materials and medicine needed to provide cataract surgery. Through your gift, someone is given a life of sight.

Your gifts provide the resources cbm’s dedicated community workers, doctors, therapists or skilled craftsman need. Each gift is wrapped in Jesus’ love.

Because cbm is a recognized by the Canadian government for our charitable work, you’ll also receive a tax receipt for your gift. We send out all receipts by mail shortly after you purchase your gift. Legally, cbm can only issue tax receipts to the person making the donation.
